Gold

Spent the morning by taking a bus to the Kinkakuji area of Kyoto to see the Kinkakuji Temple, an unassuming giant floating gold building.
Then another bus ride to Nijo castle where the floorboards are tuned to sound like nightingales and some to sound like floorboards.

On the subject of big and shiny, are you going to get up for the Champions League Final(TM) which kicks-off at hara-kiri hour local time (4:45am!)?

Going to try and wake up for the football. Otherwise it may be on tv in the evening and there's a good chance that I could get through the day without hearing the result, likely lads style.
